The interior of swimming pool "Lokomotyv" which is currently forsaken and abandoned is decorated with ceramic mosaics. The author concentrated on the details in the decoration of a large area of one of the walls of the building: the object is impressive not only due to the variety of depicted sea creatures but also because of the abundance of colours and their shades used. An important artistic technique that provided the work with depth and volume is the use of light, even white, chips not only for the image of bubbles, unevenly located on the panel, but also for the characters and chiaroscuros. Indeed, the work of the author with colour and the way underwater lighting is depicted is close to oil painting. Nevertheless, she also took into account the specificity of the material, conveying the light of a lantern and scattering red chips over the entire work that added contrast in dark backgrounds.
The composition center is somewhat shifted, so its balance is achieved by framing the main scene where young researchers of the depths of the sea are portrayed with considerably lighter algae. The dark background also helps to focus the viewers' attention on the characters, in the depiction of whom the author used the bright shades of red, green, orange. Generally, although this work has an expressive element of narrativity, it is unlikely that it can be called ideological — there is no propaganda in it. It rather resembles an illustration to adventure novels for children and teenagers where "realism" of the narrative is often inferior to the imagination.
